Connexxus, UC's travel program, is a secure Web portal for booking university business travel.

Breastfeeding and lactation support

The UCOP Lactation Program includes a lactation room at your work location, breastfeeding classes and eligibility to purchase a breast pump at a discounted price.

Building access

Request building access via iRequest. 24-hour access is granted via iRequest only, with Manager/Director approval. Visitors must be signed up in advance through iVisitor. Ask if your department has a designated visitor scheduler or email the Work Management Center to request access.

Business Resource Center (BRC)

BRC handles general procurement, travel and entertainment, ledger reconciliation, payroll and event planning. Each team, identified by a color, is dedicated to a group of departments or a service area.

Downtown shuttle service (Green Bus) Link

M-F 7:00 - 7:00

Offers fast connections from BART, the Oakland/Alameda/San Francisco Ferry and Amtrak Capitol Corridor to downtown Oakland offices. The shuttles run every 10 - 15 minutes during regular hours between Embarcadero West (Jack London Square) and Grand Avenue.

Microsoft software for home use

UCOP employees can purchase a licensed copy of Microsoft Office, Project and Visio for Windows, or Microsoft Office for Macintosh, for just $9.95 each to install and use on their personally owned home computer. The software may be used for personal purposes and is not restricted to work use.

The Incident Reporting System is an easy and fast way to report a problem that affects the university's people, property or environment.

Reserving meeting space

UCOP conference rooms can be reserved via the Outlook Web App or by the Outlook Calendar. Secure Attachment File Encryption (SAFE)

SAFE is a service that allows UCOP employees to quickly, easily, and securely send large electronic files via a Web browser, rather than attaching them to an e-mail message.
