The OP Staff Assembly supports UC's mission by encouraging communication between staff and the administration and other members of the university community on matters of interest to staff employees, in accordance with California laws and regental policy. Our activities provide forums where staff at all levels can discuss issues of mutual concern, and offer opinions and recommendations on policies, processes and programs.

Led by a steering committee of five to eleven employees from across UCOP's units and departments, the assembly also fosters an understanding of the university’s mission and UCOP's connection to UC campuses, hospitals and laboratories by providing networking opportunities to increase exchange of knowledge in all aspects of the OP community. The OP Staff Assembly Steering Committee facilitates a regular meeting with staff every 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12:00-1:00 p.m.  Please check the UCOP calendar for the meeting room.

Meetings are open to all OP employees who are welcome to bring their ideas forward and volunteer.
