Leave & Accommodation Services
Leave and Accommodation Services provides support to UCOP staff, supervisors and managers with occupational and non-occupational health issues, family medical needs, ergonomic consultation, and mitigate potential risks in our workforce in compliance with UC Personnel Policy for Staff Members, Collective Bargaining Agreements, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act.

Ergonomics Program
It is the policy of UC Office of the President (UCOP) to provide all employees with a safe and healthy workplace. An ergonomics program is a systematic process that communicates information to ensure that adequate and feasible solutions to ergonomic risks can be implemented to improve the workplace.
Worker's Compensation/Workplace Injury
Workers' Comp is a no-fault, employer-paid insurance system designed to assure that employees who sustain work-related injury or illness receive complete medical attention for the injury or illness, and a degree of financial and other support in returning to gainful work.
