Content & analysis overview
IRAP supports UC’s transparency and advocacy efforts, along with providing decision support through the production of reports and analyses. This material can include the annual production of the UC Accountability Report, UC Information Center, UC facts at a glance, and UC in California maps which consolidate information across subject areas. In addition, IRAP produces topic briefs, reports and analyses that concentrate in key areas of the university.
Academic planning
content & analysis sectionIRAP collaborates with and provides analytical and policy support to the Provost, Academic Planning Council, the UC Academic Senate, the Coordinating Committee on Graduate Affairs and University Committee on Planning and Budget in particular, and all campuses and other parts of UC.
Equity, diversity, and inclusion
Content & analysis sectionIRAP partners with UC campuses and UCOP divisions to examine how equity, diversity, and inclusion shape student, faculty, and staff outcomes across the University through data analyses and research collaborations to track progress, surface effective practices, and inform decisions that advance inclusive excellence.
Undergraduate admissions
Content & analysis sectionIRAP collaborates with the Undergraduate Admissions office, Diversity and Engagement, and other UCOP departments to provide analytical support to UC administration and the Academic Senate's Board of Admissions & Relations with Schools and provides information to UC campuses to support meeting admissions targets.
Undergraduate enrollment
Content & analysis sectionIRAP collaborates with the Undergraduate Deans on campuses and provides decision support, including enrollment modeling, for the enrollment planning process.
Undergraduate affordability
Content & analysis sectionIRAP collaborates with the Student and Equity Affairs office and Student Financial Aid in the UC Admissions office to provide data analyses and reports on financial support and program affordability for UC undergraduate students.
Undergraduate outcomes
Content & analysis sectionIRAP collaborates with the Undergraduate Education and Institutional Research departments on campuses to assess undergraduate student experience and learning outcomes, and provide decision support on factors influencing graduation rates, trends in degrees awarded, and outcomes.
Graduate and professional degree students
Content & analysis sectionIRAP collaborates with the Office of Research and Graduate Studies and campus Graduate Deans to provide analytical and survey support on graduate students.
Alumni economic mobility
