Description
Power Automate is a cloud-based automation service from Microsoft that enables UCOP staff to build automated workflows between applications and services. With Power Automate, users can automate repetitive tasks, set up approval processes, sync data across systems, (P3/P4 data syncs may need additional approval if not already approved by security team), receive notifications, and integrate with hundreds of applications including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and third-party services. Both no-code and low-code options are available, making it accessible to end users as well as developers building more complex solutions.

Cost
The cost of the service is covered by central IT funding and is included as part of the Microsoft A5 licenses provided to UCOP staff.
