Description

Copilot Studio is a platform that enables users to build, test, and deploy custom AI-powered conversational agents or "copilots." Unlike Microsoft's general-purpose Microsoft 365 Copilot, which is built into Microsoft 365 apps, Copilot Studio allows organizations to create specialized copilots for specific business needs, such as answering HR questions or providing IT support. It uses a graphical, low-code environment to connect agents to an organization's data, systems, and tools, and can be deployed across various channels like websites and Microsoft Teams. 

  • “Full” Copilot Studio – Creating complex Copilot agents, agents with custom responses, sharing with other people, and works with connectors to data repositories (OneDrive, SharePoint, etc).

  • “Lite” Copilot Studio (free to UCOP) – Creating basic agents.  It has a fast setup and small learning curve. 

Eligibility

All UCOP employees with a UCOP email address.

Cost

“Full” Copilot Studio requires a paid Microsoft CoPilot M365 license.

“Lite” Copilot Studio  (free for UCOP) is available to all UCOP email holders.
