The virtual quarterly Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Town Hall meetings bring to life our commitment to UCOP’s key EDI tenets including Steadfast Leadership and our emphasis on Shared Accountability to advance EDI efforts.
February 2024 EDI Town Hall: February recording | February Link summary
The UCOP EDI and Anti-Racism Advisory Group presented an overview of UCOP’s new Unified EDI and Anti-Racism Framework, including:
- An overview of the framework, including its primary goals and how they were developed
- Plans for integrating framework goals and concepts into our work throughout UCOP
- How staff at all levels will play an important role in the framework’s success
November 2023 EDI Town Hall: November recording
- Overview of the history of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) at UCOP, including how they were developed in response to the 2020 Anti-Racism Task Force Report.
- Four current ERG leaders participated in a roundtable discussion on their experiences in employee leadership.
July 2023 EDI Town Hall: July recording | July Link summary
- Highlighted the equity and inclusion value in the UCOP Strategic Framework and the need for UCOP to adopt a unified framework and common set of EDI goals to further our work toward becoming an anti-racist organization.
- UCOP EDI Advisory group members presented UCOP’s EDI Framework, including the mission, vision and key tenets.
