Intercampus Transfer & Use Acknowledgement (“ITUA”)

Background

The Intercampus Transfer & Use Acknowledgement (“ITUA”) is a template form set designed to facilitate sharing University-owned data and materials across University locations. The ITUA is multi-functional, designed to serve as either a Material Transfer Agreement or a Data Transfer Agreement, while also accommodating one-way, reciprocal, and multi-party and multi-directional sharing arrangements.

There is no limit on what UC-owned material or data may be shared under an ITUA.  Importantly, the ITUA is limited to only facilitating the sharing of UC-owned material and data with other UC locations. It is not to be used for sharing material and data owned by third parties, or for sharing with third parties, nor is it designed for sharing material and data on an intracampus basis.

The ITUA was introduced on April 1, 2025 and this page and additional resources will be updated and shared as they become available.
