The University of California received the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Gold Award for the Best Advance in Women’s Leadership Development category; in recognition of the UC Women’s Initiative for Professional Development. The systemwide professional development program was designed and implemented by Systemwide Talent Management in partnership with the Systemwide Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (SACSW) and Coro Northern California.

The Learning In Practice Practitioner Awards are given annually to practitioners and providers in recognition of excellence in learning and employee development.
This year, the University of California received the Talent Management Award, recognizing learning executives who have developed a program that effectively integrates learning into broader talent management initiatives such as employee engagement, onboarding, succession planning, recruiting or performance management.

This award honors organizations that develop and implement best-in-class integrated learning and/ or talent programs that demonstrate strong results. Programs feature innovation to overcome challenges and realize success. The University of California was an Honorable Mention for the Creating an Impact category.
The University of California received the Creating an Impact: Higher Education award, recognizing an education program that clearly communicates nuanced concepts to 500,000 students, faculty, and staff in order to drive cultural and behavioral change. UC is continues its efforts to be sustainable and transparent in order to drive and enhance a culture of prevention and safety.
