Systemwide Human Resources is a member-centric operation providing leadership, expertise and resources to engage and support employees throughout their careers and into retirement.

We strive to foster a healthy, equitable and inclusive UC workplace, and maximize HR efficiency, consistency and innovation, while supporting employee retention and engagement.

Systemwide Human Resources units:

  • Provide strategies and programs for competitive and principled compensation and health, welfare and retirement benefits
  • Create, manage and coordinate fiscal and administrative projects, processes, communications and analytics to support HR
  • Lead effective systemwide processes for shared collective bargaining and policy obligations
  • Identify strategic workforce challenges and opportunities to support integrated HR solutions across the system
  • Provide retirement guidance, benefit administration and support services for UC faculty, staff and their beneficiaries
