Mission Statement

The mission of Veterans Among US is to serve our communities, the University of California and each other. We aim to help employees engage in activities and events that support Veterans, military service organizations and academia, and create bonds based on armed services connections, including personal and family affiliations as well as overall admiration for the armed services. We collaborate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to recruit Veterans as well as develop and retain current UC Veteran employees. Veterans Among US strives to support our local communities by participating in outreach, local events and programs that support veterans. We assist in providing support services to veterans and their family members through various platforms and information.
