We invest in research that benefits UC and California

Our investments support researchers and students across California, at all ten UC campuses, five medical centers, three national laboratories, and numerous research stations. Collectively, our programs strengthen UC and California by leveraging the creative talent and unique resources of the world’s premier and most comprehensive university system to:

  • BENEFIT CALIFORNIA 
    Our programs incentivize research that benefits California, its people, environment, and economy, attracting additional resources to the state.

  • SUPPORT UC FACULTY
    We support UC faculty at all career stages with programs that attract and retain premier talent, and foster their advancement.
