Britt will create an evaluation tool to capture students’ perceived barriers to the food access programs on campus which seek to improve food security status. This tool will assess relationships between food insecurity and utilization of resources that are promoted and/or utilized on campus to promote food security. With the resources and expertise available through GFI, this evaluation tool can be used to address barriers to student food security as they occur, instead of a post-hoc approach to dealing with student concerns, leading to better student support and health and academic outcomes.
