UC Controller

As part of the University of California, Office of the President Systemwide Controller’s office, the Financial Systems team is a systemwide partner and resource for systems guidance and implementation support.

We serve the UC locations (both campuses and medical centers), the UCPath Center and the Centers of Expertise (COEs), and partner with UCOP and systemwide departments. These relationships are instrumental to us meeting the needs of UC staff and faculty.

We have three areas of focus:

• Systems Implementation, Maintenance and Support: Given the importance and complexity of financial systems throughout UC, advises and guides locations on Oracle and related financial systems, including interpretation and applicability of the various laws, rules and regulations that govern UC’s financial systems
• Financial Systems Issues Management: Serves as a liaison between the UC Controller's Office, Information Technology Services (ITS) and the locations in resolving technical issues related to Oracle, Amazon Web Services – Financial Data Warehouse (AWS-FDW) and related systems.
• Special Projects and Responsibilities: Manages special projects, as assigned
