Bill Doucet

Senior Project Manager

Bill Doucet began his career in Information technology working as a software developer for a small software house (Applied Data Systems) in Arlington, Massachusetts, working in the WANG environment, developing Housing, and Reservation applications, while supporting Dunn and Bradstreet packages.

From there he went to work for Ross Systems as an application analyst, where he was assigned to develop, install and maintain financial systems software at Apple UK, living in London for two years.

He was then hired by Apple Computer to manage three application support teams: Financials, Manufacturing and distribution. Four years later, the Apple IT department was sold to MCI System House, then WorldCom and then Electronic Data Systems, changing Bill's company, but not his job three times. Bill was then assigned as Director of the Apple Computer business systems support account for EDS.

Bill next worked for EDS as the Account Manager for the Cadence Design account.

He next worked for Fireman's Fund Insurance in Novato as a Project Manager. Then onto the GAP as a contracting Project Manager in San Bruno.

Finally Bill ended up at UCOP as a Senior Project Manager where he has been resident since 2010. He has managed large and small projects including mainframe relocations, SharePoint implementation, Service Now Implementation and the development and rollout of Multi-factor Authentication.

Bill lives in Napa with his lovely wife Wendy, where they enjoy cycling, gardening, cooking and formerly wine making.
