Food Equity and Sustainable Food Procurement
As a GFI undergraduate fellow, Annie hopes to better incorporate discourse surrounding the food system on campus and among students, whether through student outreach or direct change in the dining halls and food services on campus. Her project will focus on food equity and sustainable food procurement, in hopes of a better understanding of the food system and its implications. The goal of her project is aimed at making healthier, more sustainably grown foods accessible to everyone, while taking into consideration the food waste that’s made on campus by dining services and students alike.
