The Advancing Faculty Diversity (AFD) program is the University of California’s primary research and development engine for transforming the professoriate of the future. Building on organizational change research, these has funded projects that have contributed to the recruitment of talented scholars from a broad cross-section of society, enhanced faculty commitment to enhancing UC's mission, and promote an equitable academic culture for all.
