Progressive Design Build Contract Templates
Used for Complex Project Scopes to Contract with a Single Party the Designs and Builds the Project
The Progressive Design Build contract templates listed below must be used by the University when the University contracts with a single party that designs and builds the project and uses competitive bidding to identify the subcontractors. The Progressive Design Build process brings the Design-Build team to the process at project conception, and the cost and scope are refined based on team input. University involvement is high in the administration of the design and construction.
The following documents are approved by the Office of the President and Office of the General Counsel for use by the Facility. A facility may place its logo on the Cover page. Each template document starts with a cover sheet and set of instructions. These instructions are for the Facility only and should not be added to the Contract Documents when distributed to the Bidder or Contractor.
Documents identified as "core documents" shall not be modified by the Facility. Any revisions to these templates are made and issued by the Office of the President.
