2022-23 GFI student fellow

John Luke’s project, Every Bruin Eats, further connects campus food resources to student-led community infrastructure. Through weekly partnerships with Swipe Out Hunger, student groups will receive a small amount of funding to make a donation to the CPO Food Closet. During this partnership, student groups will promote the CPO Food Closet on their public platforms as well as internal communication. This program hopes to increase awareness of the food closet, destigmatize its use, and create a consistent stream of donations. By leveraging peer-to-peer outreach, Every Bruin Eats hopes to push the student culture around basic needs towards empathy and accessibility.
