Experience
Michael Goldstein has served as a University Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel for The Regents of the University of California since 1998.
Prior to joining the office, Mr. Goldstein was an attorney with Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco, which he joined in 1989 following judicial clerkships for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and for the Honorable Alfonzo Zirpoli of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. His primary area of practice covers commercial and personnel litigation.
Education
Mr. Goldstein is a graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge (Hons. B.A. 1981), and the University of California, Berkeley (A.B. 1979; M.A. 1984; J.D. 1987).
