Experience

Andrew W. Houston joined UC Legal in 2017 and is Principal Campus Counsel at UC Berkeley where he provides legal advice and counsel to the campus on client service agreements, procurement, SaaS/technology agreements, professional service and supplier agreements, international ventures, copyright/trademark licenses, right of publicity, research collaborations, finance and tax, facility agreements, online terms and NDAs. 

Prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel, Mr. Houston was an attorney at San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART), where he represented the public transit agency on a variety of matters, with particular emphasis on public contracts involving construction, procurement and services.
