Amy Blum

Managing Counsel, UCLA

L. Amy Blum has been serving UCLA as Managing Campus Counsel since 2008. Prior to her current role, she began her work with the University in 2004 as Campus Counsel while also serving as Interim Vice Chancellor of Legal Affairs between 2015 and 2016. As managing campus counsel, she advises leadership and provides legal services to academic and administrative units. 

Prior to joining the University of California, Ms. Blum was a litigation partner in the Los Angeles office of Reed Smith, L.L.P. and was their Southern California Market Trial Practice Group Leader.

Ms. Blum received a B.A. in environmental studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a J.D. summa cum laude from Santa Clara University School of Law.
