From Passion to Advocacy to Change
Project Description
Conversations at home among friends and family can be just as intimidating as addressing government officials in a public forum--yet they are equally important. Gem’s project features six workshops to evaluate and educate the UCR community about their contributions to climate change, while empowering them to take action towards positive change. Through a variety of creative activities, speaker presentations, sharing of personal experiences and responsible community resources we will elevate and educate while learning to respect each other’s sustainability journey and ultimately become activists for the wellness of our planet.
