PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Brenna will explore opportunities for UCI to pursue mission-aligned carbon offsets in conjunction with the Carbon Neutrality Initiative. This will include researching successful offset programs at other college campuses, researching equity-oriented market-based offsets, identifying local offset opportunities, and designing and facilitating one local offset project during the 2019-20 academic year. The student will also work with UCI staff and faculty to coordinate a community carbon offsets equity advisory board.
