PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Steven’s fellowship project aims to employ a mixed method approach using behavioral and communication theories to identify key beliefs that should be targeted in communication interventions to educate individuals on the University of California, Merced campus to promote carbon neutral behavior. Specifically, his project will focus on mitigating scope 2 emissions and will aim to leverage the relationship between carbon neutrality and health to these efforts due to the location of the University of California, Merced in one of the worst air quality regions in the United States.
