PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Tyler Barzee’s project with the Carbon Neutrality Initiative will focus on building awareness of the Initiative to students in UCD's graduate and professional schools. He plans to engage with student organizations to communicate the importance of the Initiative and the ongoing related projects on UCD’s campus. His goal is to create partnerships that lead to the development of events that celebrate the Initiative’s goals within the framework of the student organization’s overarching mission. He is also actively working with faculty at UCD on the beginning stages of creating a Graduate Academic Certificate in Climate Science and Policy, which would help encourage graduate students to include climate-related courses into their program of study.
