Project

Greenhouse Gas Emissions by UCR Campus Fleet Vehicles

Description

The purpose of the project is to reduce primary greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by campus fleet vehicles. The University of California’s carbon neutrality program is launched to achieve net zero GHG emissions by 2025. Quantifying and estimating GHG emissions from UC Riverside campus-operated fleet vehicles is the first step to achieve the goal.

Goals

Reduce primary GHG emissions by campus fleet vehicles. Facilitate UC's carbon neutrality program to emit net zero GHG by 2025. Quantify and estimate GHG emissions from UC Riverside campus-operated fleet vehicles.

Future Plans

I work in a quite similar field of interest. I work for utilization of CO2 obtained from renewable sources. Therefore, I believe that my Ph.D. work is closely related to the fellowship project and will be helpful for each other to complete both missions.
