We are proud to be a part of the University of California, as well as the broader community of institutional investors, and view collaboration as one of our most valuable resources. As we undertake the effort to incorporate the theme of sustainability into our investment process and culture, we are dedicated to collaborating with our peers, with industry groups, with the public and private sectors, and with the University of California community to deepen our knowledge of environmental, social, and governance issues, build strategic partnerships, access new opportunities, and magnify our collective voice in the pursuit of sustainability. To this end, we now participate in a number of collaborative initiatives including the PRI, Ceres’ Investor Network on Climate Risk, CDP and 30Percent Coalition. As part of a leading global academic research institution, we look to tap the University of California ecosystem to optimize access to the specialized knowledge within the UC system.
