Remote Instruction: Planning and Execution

To support the ongoing shift to remote instruction, campus centers for teaching and learning have created a wide range of how-to guides and tutorials to get you up and running as quickly as possible. (Updated: June 4, 2020)

Remote Teaching with Zoom

UC campuses are approaching teaching continuity by using Zoom to facilitate live, virtual class meetings. Each of the campuses provides guidance for remote teaching. Click on the link above to check your campus guidance and approaches. (Updated: May 15, 2020)

Remote Assessment and Proctoring

UC campuses have long-standing policies regarding mid-term and final exams, including how they may be delivered. During this unique time, your campus is making decisions regarding how to conduct assessments with integrity under remote teaching circumstances. Most campuses have made arrangements with online proctoring services and have agreed that the campus will pay for such services.

COVID-19 and Students with Different Abilities: Programs, Innovations and Assessments

All the campus programs for students with different abilities (disabled students) remain open for remote consultation and advising. Most campuses have messages to students posted on their website home pages and/or links to related campus services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
