The Academic Engagement group at UC Riverside has created a guide on recommended Zoom settings, which is available as a PDF download. This one-page resource is in response to recent “Zoombombing” events that have disrupted virtual meetings on campuses across the country. (Shared April 10, 2020)

The ITS group at the UC Office of the President maintains a web page on using accessibility features in Zoom. There are a wide range of considerations to keep in mind to ensure that people with disabilities can participate in Zoom-facilitated meetings, and ITS has a growing list of helpful tips and resources. In addition, the Zoom Help Center has user guides and short how-to videos. It is recommended that you view the Getting Started resources and complete the following steps prior to hosting/attending your first meeting or class.
