30 Under 30 Awards Nomination Form
The Global Food Initiative 30 Under 30 Awards honor a group of young leaders under the age of 30 who are working toward solving the world’s global food crisis. The awards recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to a wide array of food-related fields, including food security, social justice, environmental sustainability, urban farming, education, agriculture, commerce, food policy, food advocacy, public service, global impact, healthy communities, research, technology, design, tech in agriculture, cultural studies, food and media, and restaurants and hospitality. The awards are organized and bestowed by UC President Janet Napolitano and the UC Office of the President’s Global Food Initiative. Nominations are due by February 29, 2016. Winners of the inaugural Global Food Initiative 30 Under 30 Awards will be recognized in June 2016.
