Affinity Groups are volunteer-led staff organizations around specific demographic categories or interests that do not generally receive funding or operational support from UCOP EDI.
Affinity Groups can generally be formed at any time. The process for creating an affinity group will be finalized during 2024.
You may use this form to express interest in one (or multiple) staff organizations. You can also contact individual staff organizations directly with questions or ideas.
Lakeside Speakeasy Toastmasters Club
The Lakeside Speakeasy Toastmasters Club is a professional and personal development focused club that provides communication and leadership training in a friendly and supportive environment.
Shakespeare Club
The UCOP Shakespeare Club meets intermittently during lunch to do a cold reading of a Shakespeare play – aspiring to boil down all swashbuckling and soliloquizing to one hour.
