Systemwide Anti-Discrimination Office

The Anti-Discrimination Office addresses the university’s responsibilities and procedures related to discrimination and harassment on the basis of other protected categories to ensure equitable and inclusive education and employment environments.

The Systemwide Anti-Discrimination Office provides direction and support for the offices responsible for preventing and responding to discrimination and harassment on the basis of protected categories such as sex, race, religion, and disability at UC’s 10 campuses, medical centers, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), and the UC Office of the President. We provide investigative guidance and develop and deliver education and training to these discrimination prevention offices as well as other university partners involved in preventing and responding to discrimination and harassment based on protected categories. We assist in implementing systemwide initiatives and best practices in discrimination and harassment prevention and response.

"We are doubling down on who we are: an educational institution that's guided by facts and data, but also a moral compass that helps us find our way to compassion and understanding in difficult moments."
