Revised Academic Personnel Policy 137, Non-Senate Academic Appointees/Term Appointment
Enclosed is revised Academic Personnel Policy 137, Non-Senate Academic Appointees/Term Appointment, which is effective August 1, 2004. Section 137-30-c has been corrected to provide that under the conditions specified the University may decide not to renew a term appointment on the basis of an appointee's conduct or performance.
This policy has been reviewed by campuses, the Academic Senate, the Office of the General Counsel, employee organizations, and affected employees.
