The Records Management Committee was established in 1963 as a standing Presidential advisory committee, charged with coordinating University-wide and campus records management programs and the development of related policies and studies. On the recommendation of the present members and chairman, I am now officially assigning the Records Management Committee as an advisory committee to the Vice President-Administration. Although the Committee will no longer be advisory to me, policy issues are to be resolved by discussions between you and Vice President McCorkle, and all policy statements are to be issued by him.
