Revised Academic Personnel Policy 715, Leaves of Absence/Family and Medical Leave

Enclosed is revised Academic Personnel Policy 715, which is effective immediately. The revised policy extends family and medical leave coverage to academic appointees who need to care for a seriously ill domestic partner. Additionally, "leave year" has been changed to "calendar year" to conform with existing University policy. Proposed revised Academic Personnel Policy 715 was reviewed by campuses, the Academic Senate, and employee organizations, and appointees were given an opportunity to comment.
