Delegation of Authority--Registration and Acquisition of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs
Each Chancellor and Laboratory Director is authorized to sign all forms and documents required by the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs, in connection with the acquisition and use of Controlled Substances. This authority may be redelegated to campus Materiel Managers and Laboratory Purchasing Officers only. You are also authorized to designate a member of your immediate staff to sign required documents as the certifying superior.
This supersedes the delegations of authority set forth in the President's letter of May 12, 1971 to the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs, and is effective immediately.
Implementing procedures will be issued in a forthcoming Business and Finance Bulletin.
