CHANCELLORS:
Delegation of Authority - Removal Expenses
The Regents granted the following authority to the President on February 17, 1968:
"That The Regents, having authorized previously the payment of up to one-half of the removal expenses of new appointees, grant to the President authority to make exceptions to this policy."
I hereby delegate this authority to you.
Please submit a report1 of exceptions made during the previous fiscal year to the Office of the President by August 31st each year. The report should list separately academic and nonacademic appointees and include the following information for each individual for whom an exception to the removal policy has been made: Name, title, amount of reimbursement, and remarks justifying the exception. This supersedes the instructions entitled "Elimination of Annual Reports of Removal Expense Payments for Nonacademic Appointees" and addressed by Acting President Wellman to Chancellors on October 6, 1967, and by Vice President Taylor to Vice Presidents and Deans on October 11, 1967.
