The University Policy Office oversees the policy-making process in all areas for which the President has authority. The University of California policy process involves broad consultation with diverse University constituencies on ten campuses. The Office issues and maintains all Delegations of Authority from the President to the Chancellors and senior managers, and is the official repository of historical and current documents.
The Policy Office also provides policy interpretation, monitoring and implementation for matters related to the Universitywide use of trademarks, including the name and seal of the University of California.
