American Council on Education

ACE conference, Feb. 16-20, 2001

Educational Testing Service (ETS) - the world's largest private educational testing and measurement organization that develops and annually administers more than 11 million tests worldwide.

The National Center for Fair and Open Testing (Fair Test) - lists 280 four-year colleges and universities, ranging from small, private liberal arts colleges to large state university systems, that do not use the SAT or ACT to make admissions decisions about some or all of their freshman applicants.

The College Board - a national, nonprofit membership association, composed of more than 3,800 schools, colleges, universities, and other educational organizations, dedicated to preparing, inspiring, and connecting students to college and opportunity.

Association of American Universities (AAU) - an association of 59 American universities and two Canadian universities focusing on issues, including undergraduate education, that are important to public and private research universities.

National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges (NASULGC) - the nation's oldest higher education association that includes public universities, land-grant institutions and many of the nation's public university systems located in all 50 states, the U.S. territories and the District of Columbia.
