Community Educators' Summer Institute

Your organization is invited to participate in the Community Educators’ Summer Institute (The Institute), a University of California Office of the President University-Community Engagement sponsored project, scheduled to take place on June 12-13, 2008, on the UC Berkeley campus.

The Institute is designed to provide community based organizations, working with youth preparing for higher education, an opportunity to actively engage in assessing their current services. 

Through presentations; small group activities; and individual reflections, participants will walk away with concrete strategies to aid them in enhancing the delivery of programming to their students; improving the alignment of organizational goals and objectives with programmatic outcomes and identifying critical training areas for staff. 

Participants will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues in problem solving, sharing ideas and exploring potential for leveraging resources.
