Reporting Test Results

Freshman Applicants

You must take the SAT Reasoning Test or ACT Assessment plus Writing, and two SAT Subject Tests. For SAT and ACT test dates, see important dates and deadlines.

If you are applying for freshman admission for the fall 2009 term, you must complete the tests and order official score reports no later than December 2008. Report scores to each campus you are applying to.

If you are applying for the fall term, the Admissions Offices must receive your test results from the agencies no later than the date in January when December test scores are normally reported.

You can get information about reporting scores for the SAT from the College Board. You can report ACT scores from the ACT website.

If you apply as a freshman for the spring or winter term, check with the campus Admissions Office about relevant testing deadlines.

TOEFL and IELTS

If your native language is not English and your education in secondary/high school or college/university has been in a country where English is not the native language, you must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination (academic modules) and arrange to have your scores reported to the Admissions Office at each campus to which you apply. If you are applying for the fall term, the Admissions Offices must receive your test results from the testing agency no later than January.
