Presentations featured research data and a variety of mentoring models fitted to various career stages in STEM fields. Speakers and participants shared successes and best practices, identified gaps in current UC mentoring efforts, and discussed ways to establish mentoring as a tool for dealing with retention and climate issues in STEM departments.
