Connexxus is the new UC travel program. It combines discounts with a range of booking options, providing value, flexibility, and convenience for UC business travelers.

How to use: The Connexxus Web portal will include links to booking options, agent contact information, and guidance for choosing the best option for your travel situation.

Benefits: Excellent pricing is achieved through UC negotiations with airlines, hotels, and car rental companies.

Timeline: Connexxus is expected to be available to all UC employees by the end of 2008.

Background: The UC Travel Management Council, representing all campuses, medical centers, and national laboratories, developed Connexxus. The council gathered input from UC travelers using a survey and focus groups. The new central Travel Management Office at the UC Office of the President provides guidance and coordination for Connexxus, one of the largest managed travel programs.
