Host Biography

Larissa Branin has been producing and hosting Science Today since 1997. A native New Yorker, Branin was a news anchor and staff reporter for a CBS radio affiliate station in Kingston, New York before moving to the Golden State. Once there, Branin became involved with public radio and was one of six national reporters chosen to participate in National Public Radio’s Diversity Initiative. Her print works include contributions to The Chicago Tribune, Hope Magazine and two published books.
