Digest
Credits

The Information Digest includes undergraduate student admissions and enrollment data as well as information concerning the retention, graduation, and time-to-degree of UC undergraduates. For nearly 10 years, the Digest has been produced by staff in Student Academic Services to describe the admissions process Universitywide and to report upon the performance of undergraduates as measured by their persistence, graduation, and time-to-degree rates. This edition of the Digest includes admissions data up to Fall 1996 (although we were able to squeeze in some Fall 1997 data before the publication deadline). The Digest also includes student outcome data up to Fall 1995.

This year's Information Digest has been revised extensively. Sections concerning undergraduate student persistence, graduation, and time-to-degree have been expanded to provide a decade's worth of data. In addition, a new section has been added that focuses specifically on the retention, graduation, and time-to-degree of community college transfer students, emphasizing the fact that these students constitute the vast majority of transfer students to the University's undergraduate campuses.
