Financial Aid Awards
by Family Income Level

Students from families with lower incomes receive higher amounts of grant aid.

1994-1995 academic year, systemwide average financial aid awards for all dependent UC undergraduates receiving need-based financial aid. Scholarship and work-study averages indicated do not reflect typical individual awards because the proportion of students receiving these forms of asistance is much smaller than the overall population of need-based financial aid recipients. Among those students receiving scholarships, the average award was $2,283; among those students receiving work-study, the average award was $1,278.
