Receiving Financial Aid

The percentage and number of UC undergraduates receiving financial assistance have increased since 1990.


Percentages of students enrolled in the fall term. Need-based financial aid includes grants, scholarships awarded on the basis of financial need as well as other non-financial criteria, subsidized loans, and work-study employment. Non need-based financial aid includes scholarships awarded on the basis of non-financial criteria and unsubsidized educational loans.
