ON-LINE TRACKING OF CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE
The Office of Risk Services has partnered with Exigis to provide a UC system-wide certificate of insurance tracking system. The main purpose of this system is to track certificates of insurance from the numerous vendors and contractors that the University conducts business with. Exigis will be providing on-line training sessions to familiarize users with the system - learn how to navigate through the system to request, check status, track and search for certificates of insurance.
NEW ON-LINE CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE TRACKING SYSTEM
- Paperless, web-based source for all certificates of insurance issued to UC
- Outside vendors, contractors, consultants have their insurance representative obtain access to UC Tracker and input the required insurance limits and information
- UC Tracker verifies compliance with the insurance requirements of the contract
- UC Tracker checks to determine the Certificate of Insurance is current
- Paper certificates no longer need to be manually filed or retained
All UC employees who are involved with certificates of insurance related to UC contracts should participate in an on-line training session.
