Pandemic Response Planning Workgroup
Introduction
Prompted by the news reports on the spread of avian flu and other infectious diseases, many UC campuses are working on developing pandemic response plans. There are many different groups and departments working on this planning, such as emergency management, occupational health, clinical services, human resources, student affairs, and more.
The Office of Risk Services has formed a workgroup to discuss and share information about various planning efforts, as well as to develop a systemwide approach and strategy to pandemic planning. The workgroup is issuing a survey to gather information and will be maintaining an online library of documentation and references.
